Need help skype phone wp-s1?

I have a cable which connects my laptop and my skypephone wp-s1, and installed software like the pc sync for the phone. But my laptop doesn’t recognise the phone! I want to upload some pics. It says its looking for drivers but says it cant find anything! This is getting really annoying!!!!!!!!!! What can i do???????
