Calculating the target output voltage and using a digital multimeter to set the gain and boost?

I have 2 channel Gravity amp (GR-1000.2) and 2 12″ kicker cvr subs at ohm each. What is my traget output voltage? Do i calculate it for each channel/sub or do i calculate it for both channels?
Is it (400Rms X 2subs) x (2 Ohm load each )= 1600 SQ= 40 voltage?
Lets say i want my amp to push 400 watts rms in each channel? thats 800 watts rms total. how much voltage is that?
