Zita asked:
95% of females in the sex industry have been abused, have entered the industry at age 13 and 100% of them would do something else if they knew how. Does this change you mind about porn, prostitution and lap dancing/strip clubs? Why?
Actually these figures are true and not a lot of people know they are, basically like lots of others I thought that it was only the “underground” sex industry that got involved in sex trafficing, rape, abuse, but that it NOT NOT NOT the case. Even in places like Amsterdam where prostitution is legal, the prostitutes have been bought and sold, against their will, people don’t want to believe it’s true, but it it, check out some of my sources http://www.prostitutionresearch.com/factsheet.html
http://www.nokomisfoundation.org/pdf/prtreport.pdf
Now does it change your views?
Most males and even some female are either unaware or in denial about the facts. So it doesn’t surprise me that a couple of the answers have been reactionary. The facts stand! I have checked my sources very well. It is a sad fact that a lot of people, particularly males who enjoy porn prostitutes or strip clubs like to pretend to themselves that these women are actually enjoying themselves!

I doubt that 95% of the people in the sex work industry entered sex work at age 13. I know 5 dancers and they all entered the industry when they were at least 18.
Perhaps for the underground sex industry, those stats might be true. I have heard of girls being kidnapped and forced into prostitution and working in clubs.
Amsterdam Review added these pithy words on Nov 04 08 at 2:44 pmThis sounds like propoganda to me. In Amsterdam, whilst there are many East and Central European prostitutes (some of them forced), there are many “career women”.
As for porn, you are suggesting that most women in porn started off in porn suitable for pedophiles – I have never heard such rubbish before.
I suggest you do more thorough research.
